Earth at night seen from space ISS (HD 1080p) ORIGINAL

All images used in this video were taken by the astronauts of Expedition 29 (Commander Mike Fossum, Flight Engineer Dan Burbank, Flight Engineers Satoshi Furukawa, Sergei Volkov, Anatoly Ivanishin and Anton Shkaplerov) aboard the International Space Station.

ISS altitude is about 350 kilometers (217 miles) above Earth surface.

This has audio good pick and nice job on the editing sebastiansz!

Ya know since the effort of assembling the ISS these are the most awesome footage of the planet we have to date. The astronauts on board have more time to film and not so busy when working up there with the Shuttle. Our Home is a space ship enjoy the ride and clean the deck when your done working.

What does it feel like to fly over planet Earth – Fluid version

A time-lapse taken from the front of the International Space Station as it orbits our planet at night. This movie begins over the Pacific Ocean and continues over North and South America before entering daylight near Antarctica.

Visible cities, countries and landmarks include (in order) Vancouver Island, Victoria, Vancouver, Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, Los Angeles. Phoenix. Multiple cities in Texas, New Mexico and Mexico. Mexico City, the Gulf of Mexico, the Yucatan Peninsula, El Salvador, Lightning in the Pacific Ocean, Guatemala, Panama, Columbia, Ecuador, Peru, Chile, Lake Titicaca, and the Amazon.

Also visible is the earths ionosphere (thin yellow line), a satellite (55sec) and the stars of our galaxy.
