Marley faced questions about his own racial identity throughout his life.
He once reflected:
“I don’t have prejudice against meself. My father was a white and my mother was black. Them call me half-caste or whatever. Me don’t dip on nobody’s side. Me don’t dip on the black man’s side nor the white man’s side. Me dip on God’s side, the one who create me and cause me to come from black and white”.
We have come a long way since then and now I have to ask:
1. Could you be loved Bankers?
2. Say Something!

The Show Begins:
Recorded live in 1996 at the magical and historical setting of the Waldbuhne (‘Stage in the Woods’) – the legendary Joe Cocker and his band perform 17 tracks – his greatest hits including ‘Summer In The City’, ‘Could You Be Loved’, ‘Unchain My Heart’ and ‘With A Little Help From My Friends’, along with a couple of selections from his latest albums Organic- Into The Mystic (1996) N’Oubliez Jamais (1997) and Across From Midnight (1997) to a sell-out audience.
The audio in this is excellent, put your head phones on or turn up the surround sound!
Thanks to all the U Tube users you get to watch Joe, that night might have just been his best performance and the band was really tight! Will see as time goes by and Joe still packs them in!
That was written 3 years ago and just yesterday (12/21/14) I was updating all this and hear today that Joe passed away last night on his Colorado estate from lung cancer. The man once again headed to the top of the music industry, last year he broke all his own records in arenas across Europe. A statement from his agent, “It is with the heaviest hearts we heard that our beloved Joe Cocker passed away last night. He was without the doubt the greatest rock/soul voice ever to come out of Britain and remained the same man throughout his life,” Marshall wrote in a statement shared by BBC. Wow! this man was so love by so many around the world. Yeah, Could You Be Loved? and be loved? There is no question Joe you are that man.
Go below deck and type Joe Cocker in the Ship’s Search.
Always Enjoy The Show (I think Joe would agree and R.I.P. Mate you will be deeply missed, your music will remain timeless)
