New Year Wave

Year In Space Credit NASA Scott Kelly

Credit NASA Commander Scott Kelly

Wow from this photo by Commander Scott Kelly, we’re not in Kansas anymore, taken from station on New Years Day the Commander captures the kickoff of a year that will be in our history books.  This photo just might represent a silver lining for humanity that is shrouded in a layer of darkness over human rights, global manipulation and our ever-changing planet.  First out of the box for the New Year Saudi Arabia which was pointed by the UN as Head of Counsel for Human Rights executes 47 people along with the cleric Nimr al-Nimr, then we have Oregon patriots occupying Oregon’s Malheur Wildlife Refuge over harassment and claims of unjust practice from the BLM.  Bundy says the armed protest is about forcing the government to play by its own rules, we want the government to abide by the Constitution and play by rules, this is what this protest is about.  Sunday rolls around and Saudi Arabia severs ties from Iran from protest in Tehran at Saudi’s embassy and if that’s not enough to shack things up an earthquake of M 6.7 – hits 29km west of Imphal, India.  That was just some of the news on New Years weekend, we head into Monday and China’s market hits the skids dragging world markets with it, someone cooking the books?

From this photo which is one of the best photos taken of Earth, we don’t see the conflicts on the ground and her moving the plates around, it represents something else, a dawn of reason in which we get our heads out of our ass and we’re lucky that the planet will allow this, but for how long?

A Legacy of Mission Objectives

reveling mission objectives

A great study, a great find

From a legacy of mission objectives since we could write, it seems the crew on Earth in many realms has been expendable and played throughout human history, we keep finding guys like Ash in this clip bellow who end up reveling mission objectives even though with smug offering of sympathies, at which point we burn what’s been left behind of burnt offerings.

Cowboy Ethics in The Market Place

We'er in this Together

We’re in this Together

The Ship has come full circle from many years of diving deep and sailing around on the surface in understanding our existence, the fortune in science our inhabitants and stewardship on good planet Earth and her climate nature, which is our greatest sponsor.  From social structures of many countries, economies here and abroad, a leadership of many inspirational people, others in this realm who would have us sailing for the rocks, which caused us to change.  This photo above was used in a post “Code of Ethics”   it rides at the top of the Ship’s blog scroll and later illustrated at the G.C.C.U. website illustrating a theme, in which we’re all in this together and have something very much in common, we all love someone.  That alone took me 13 years to figure out, to put us on a level playing field where you feel something instead of hearing it and “yes sir,” we all love someone.  Chris Hadfield the commander at the time of the ISS mentioned when peering out on the planet from space brought him closer to us instead of feeling isolated from humanity on board the Space Station, not seeing any boundaries that separate us down on the ground.

So riding with this photo Cowboy Ethics, we first have a home, once again The Good Earth.

Next the rider, “us.”   What are we truly about?  I know of no better steward of the land than our ancestry of Native Indians, Ranchers and Farmers who lives are supported through the abundance of the planet which has inherited a theme, “what have you done for anything or anyone and helped it along its way, (like the cafe in the cowboy’s lap) did you love?  Were you loved?”  This is an important character about us, for we have many champagne ribbons like on a general’s uniform signifying our accomplishments along with all the plaques that fill a wall representing our success but the one that stands out, what have you done?  You can feel that where it’s not pinned to your chest or hanging on the wall, it rides tall in the saddle, your proud.

From here life is all the same for us, the stepping-stones and projects you are involved with at the time, how did you get here and what you’re supporting.  Working on the condition, our involvement in such projects changing outcomes that might have gone wrong if not for concern and caring, your support at home (remember Earth is Home) and the workplace.  Part of the Ship here is the writers guild which you’ll find PERSPECTIVES, who has dived into working on the condition, life is not only human but an experience of mind or control that encompasses societies.

Our future depends on what we’re going to do and if we can see a better light that can shine a way to getting there.  Science will always benefit society it does not know right from wrong only what works and through our understanding of all matter, our chalkboard is filled with ideas, it does look bright.

Our own source of support, what carries you?  A great sense of Respect, Pride and Honor stems from this like the bond of a family or good friends, think about it, we were all infants, who supported us? This will always be known as Mom or the next best thing to all humans and mammals, I know of no greater love for a person or mammal than the love of a child or pup by its mother, wouldn’t you agree? You can learn a lot from a dog, I raised them for over 40 years that’s why I mention mammals and I’ll tell ya, I feel it was more important for me to learn what it is to be more humane than human.   Beyond The Woods our spiritual being your beliefs where Flamingseed has embarked on a journey born from a long cycle of retreat outside of the consumer matrix.  For inspiration,  she has comb the streets not to mention the forests and villages, as well as the contemplative and mystical traditions — for insights, spiritual practices and visionary ideas on cultivating a loving, generative worldview regardless of circumstances.  Wow, that sounds like Mom.

So a great bond is formed, from here we experience life all around us and continue to work on the condition that may lead us on a True North course.  An expression comes to mind, “Up North”  not so much a place but a state of mind, serene landscape, tranquil, timeless, where you are just happy to be.  When we are done, time for some housekeeping and cleaning of the deck, what’s right with the Ship.  So the person behind you get’s to experience what you already know.  We’re sailing into a new economy and the driving force behind economies is the consumer, Globe Backyard TV-Corrupt banks are done Hello New Economy the next evolution in the marketplace. The Peoples Inc. this is already happening where society is tired of corrupted affairs around the world.  So walk out on the deck and have a once around the Ship, a platform of tools, knowledge from other supporting groups to work through this grey area of ethics which quite simply is right and wrong, we don’t need no inquisition, “it ain’t that hard to figure it out.”  We just need to unite on this Monopoly board in order to be a better player, we need to get our feet wet, we are the change we wish to see and with that, we just passed GO!

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all Faiths

God bless everything that walks, crawls, slithers, swims, flies and grows.  Yep, that pretty much covers it.

Hubble, Billions of Galaxies but one Home

Earth 900 million miles away

Earth 900 million miles away

The image taken by Cassini on July 19. Saturn was back-lit by the sun, giving Cassini the opportunity to take photos of the planet’s rings.  The spacecraft was in position to also take photos of Earth from approximately 900 million miles away.  Cassini beamed the first raw images to Earth on July 20, giving a preliminary look at Earth from Saturn.

Billions of galaxies and 1000s of habitable planets, but we only inhabit Earth (for now) that small spec as seen from Saturn.

State of Texas at night

State of Texas at night

It seems that nature mimics matter in all sizes, from any creatures DNA to the cosmos threads of galaxies throughout the universe.  In this photo above taken by NASA Expedition 36 Crew, the state of Texas at night resembles this same engineering of just millions of people building,  as if you were peering into far off galaxies and their neighbors.

Hubble Space Telescope has served humanity like a Mariner explorer at sea.  Billions of galaxies and many planets discovered in the Goldilocks zone.  With the infinite options we only have one home.  This film is basically an educational, calculation of the vastness of the universe and lone occupation of Earth.  From the dawn of time, we’ve been exploring the Heavens.  Thanks to Explorer Hubble, we’ve been able to peer deep space.  Science discoveries keep advancing us every higher and the exploration of matter we plunge ever deeper where the physics of both scales reach infinity.  Understanding matter the building blocks,  will be the Holy Grail for humanity,  the engineering on a microscopic level will lead to the advancement of space travel for our backyard is measured in light years.  Nothing as close as your neighborhood drive through but working on how to travel through all that space,  we have a decent map so far,  just need a ride.

The faces accompanying Elbert Einstein at time stamp 2:00 min in the vid are,  Isaac Newton and Galileo Galilei.

Our Outlook Thanks Columbia

It’s been 10 years since the Shuttle Columbia disaster,  (Jan 16 2003)  in this video Remembering Columbia “In Their Own Words”  Payload Specialist Astronaut Ilan Roman who was Israel’s first Astronaut to fly in space,  speaks of looking out over the Earth and seeing a planet with no boarders, could you imagine?   What is it any way that keeps us from having free range like a Mustang pony running a ridge,  wild and free.  We’re not free and our economic monetary system is an illusion for most part for many are with out where everything is around you.  If we were to remove all this Jack Wagon crap from our society as in a me, me, me world there would be more to go around and develop better technology without strings attached.  Take for instance NASA always having to work with a budget like any entity today and making space flight affordable,  think if their budget was limitless?  Where would we be?  Science and R&D always has its hands tied to a budget that only limits our capabilities,  for the planet has the resources but we are limited from those resources at a price.  Remove money from this equation and our limits are unlimited,  were going to have to come to a conclusion that wealth does not fuel our existence.  It is not there for everyone who lives on the planet so what good is it but to count and stack or polish.

Many Astronauts’ say while in space and looking down on the planet gives you a new perspective of who we are on Earth and that is one.  One planet with all life upon it is a larger number than the money in the world today,  its slowing us down not enough to go around.  We have to rethink everything,  the needs of the many out weigh the needs of the few or the one.  The planet needs house keeping not owners,  she don’t even know she has been sold to the highest bidder and if she did,  well probably be as mad and tiered as we are getting with what doesn’t work with the rules and regulations laid out that are not followed anyway by the makers of such restraints.

Dec 2012 Countdown The End?

Roman Colosseum

Well from this post date,  we have till sunrise (a new era) and from looking at the way the Earth has been responding lately one would think something is up!  Lot to look at from a science and religion standpoint and much is here just in this blog site you read,  which I would like to thank you once again if I don’t get the chance later.  There has been over 160 predictions that the world will end as far back to 389 BC, some Romans believed that the mystical number revealed to Romulus represented the number of days in a year, so they expected Rome to be destroyed around 365, 389 BC.  Now if Dec. 21st 2012 is not enough to shock you how about the year 2280, we skipped a couple but here it is,  according to Rashad Khalifa’s research on the Quran Code,  the world will end in this year.

OK your still not scared,  so now not any of us are around from this era and it goes on!   The year 500,000,000 James Kasting,  the level of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere will drop, making Earth uninhabitable.

The year 5,000,000,000 the end of our Sun’s current phase of development,  after which it will swell into a red giant,  either swallowing the Earth or at least completely scorching it.  It is widely accepted by the scientific community that the earth will be destroyed around this time. However,  as the Sun grows gradually hotter (over millions of years),  the Earth may become too hot for life in only a billion years’ time.

Holy mother at this date what will be around?  10 to the power of 100,  that is the number 10 followed by 100 zeros, man that’s out there!  So here it is, various scientists say the heat death of the universe is a suggested ultimate fate of the universe,  in which the universe has diminished to a state of no thermodynamic free energy and therefore can no longer sustain motion or life.

I had a conversation with a Vietnam Vet the other day and we were talking of this same subject.  He mention one night while he was on guard duty  at the base and where Jeane Dixon  psychic predicted, (Feb 4 1962)   planetary alignment on this day was to bring destruction to the world.   Now from the Vet’s understanding the end time was to arrive at midnight,  the other solider that night on duty with him was nervous as hell as he describe.  Well 5 mins. after midnight came and went and the two of them were still at the gate.  But he looked at the other guard and said,  “I wonder what time zone Jeane Dixon was speaking of ?”  He said the guard just said Oh Shit!

Mayan Temple with blue moon

So what time zone is all this supposed to happen (CST) Guatemala the site of the Mayan Temple in Tikal at sunrise 7:13 AM.  Local guides are expecting a rush of visitors this week and the Guatemalan government forecasts a record 235,000 foreign tourists for December.  Hotels in Tikal are fully booked, that’s going to be some party!

Now I will say this and sadly I write, many in the past years have seen the end to their life from Earth quakes,  Volcanoes,  Tsunami, Hurricanes,  Tornadoes,  Floods,  Heat and Cold the Earth is changing and has been doing so for 4.5 billion years.  Many species along with humans have come and gone.

The Beauty in it all, a new beginning

Novum Initium New Beginning

The planet is an unbelievable force and at times it feels she has no mercy for what is in its path,  I guess this is why we keep coming up with an end date.  With all the millions of species on the planet you know we are connected in some way along with Earth and the Cosmos.  Here something you may not of known,  two National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) space weather satellites monitoring the Earth’s geomagnetic field (magnetic field) also displayed a significant spike at the time of the September 11th attack (15 min after the first plane stuck  9am ET) and for several days thereafter,  indicating the stress wave possibly caused by mass human emotion created modulations in the geomagnetic field.  Is that even possible that our thoughts and feelings effect the planet,  as you feel something is coming or going to happen?   Would make sense for everything around us comes from the heavens so why would we not be connected,  we’re not alone.

Diagram geosynchronous

Life on the planet is like a roller coaster ride,  up and down.  Seems we have been in a down turn for quite some time and a shift of ages is about to take an up swing.  Many Astrologers believe that the Mayans were predicting this shift on the end date of 2012,  a collective consciousness.  This is somethings you feel,  more than think about and if that is true it’s like a mood swing which all humans and animals experience,  quite possibly every living thing for that matter.  Like the moon has an effect on the oceans tide and also making the rotation of the Earth more stable,  the Sun giving light and warmth allowing all plants to grow and like when it’s cloudy for days on end you say to yourself,  I wish the Sun would shine.  So lets call this the collective,  for if it lives in Earth and within us you can be sure it’s in every thing through out the Cosmos.  For I know something and we are all tiered of war,  corruption,  starvation,  poverty,  hate.  All in all tiered of dysfunctional society that allows this to continue and just maybe this state of consciousness is on the way out.  The only people who would not want to see this is the ones who have profited from this dark age,  but you know something and Spock was right,  the needs of the many out weigh the needs of the few or the one.

Live long and prosper.  I’ll be back on the 22nd,  for we have to mop up to get this going in the right direction.

Merry Christmas to you from Earth!  (She does Care and it shows)Earth from Space by NASA she knows were here

Time Machine The Planet

This Skipper has been here for some time,  like 4.54 billion years + or –  0.05 billion.  We live for about 100 years and look at the changes you go through.  Between Earth’s Mantle, Tectonic Plates, Oceans, Seas, Rivers, Orbit, Atmosphere and the Cosmos them self delivering Asteroids,  this rock has been through a lot.   The planet has been a great time-keeper,  ice cores from the Arctic, soil samples from all around the world, boring samples from the ocean depths and drilling through the East Antarctic Ice Sheet to Lake Vostok 13,100 ft under the ice  that hasn’t been touched since the dinosaurs.

But one time-table which is just getting off the ground is humans, do we have an effect here?  The current biotic crisis  is being caused by technology and the effects may last for up to five million years.  In turn, technology may result in the extinction of humanity,  leaving the planet to gradually return to an equilibrium state.   Over time many millions of years celestial events have caused more chaos  then the humans but don’t count us out just yet.

From Wikipedia:

Humans now play a key role in the biosphere, with the large human population dominating many of Earth’s ecosystems.  This has resulted in a widespread, ongoing extinction of other species during the present geological epoch, now known as the Holocene extinction. The large-scale loss of species caused by human influence since the 1950s has been called a biotic crisis, with an estimated 10% of the total species lost as of 2007.  At current rates, about 30% of species are at risk of extinction in the next hundred years.

The Holocene extinction event is the result of habitat destruction, the widespread distribution of invasive species, hunting, and climate change.  In the present day, human activity has had a significant impact on the surface of the planet. More than a third of the land surface has been modified by human actions, and humans use about 20% of global primary production.  The concentration of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere has increased by close to 30% since the start of the Industrial Revolution.

Moving forward in time what will we be looking at?  Do we have time?

Years From Now

The face of the planet is ever-changing,  kind a like the way we change shoes.  600 million years ago you would have not recognized Earth,  for that matter 65 million years ago you’re not in the hood!  Seems that the waters are expanding and in this model it shows the next 100 million years.  Paleogeographic Views of Earth’s History provided by Ron Blakey, Professor of Geology, Northern Arizona University.

With all the documentaries of planet shift, plate tectonics, climate change, weather and our thin atmosphere,  Earth wears harder than we do.   This is one tough rock and has no sense of time that’s a human thing.  Like sands drifting over the desert  the Earth’s hour-glass, we can only study the records and help.  The rest is up to the cosmos and planet itself.

Very true we need to be good Stewards of the land, the planet shows us the balance needed to sustain life.  When you’re not feeling good you get warning signs to what ails you so with all the monitoring we are doing on Earth she seems a little sick.  The violent storms cropping up like a bad cough, the sever flooding in many countries like a runny noise and massive drought climaxed to record wild fires (human study)  like heart burn.

There is a lot of pressure on the planet and we contribute to how Earth’s face looks.  More and more our studies show where we can help and how we can become more in balance with the scheme of things.  Already many human societies have come and gone, what’s always left behind?  There ya go,  Mother Earth.

Building Our Own Future

April, 2010
As a part of the Earth Day (April 22nd) enlightenment movement, Howard Jones has teamed up with National Geographic Channel (Japan) and made their collaboration music video to send the message “Think the Earth environment”.

A story of Howard Jones:  (Think your environment)

“It was whilst they was selling fruit and veg off the back of a van that a runaway vehicle crashed into the van, injuring Jan. She wasn’t hurt badly, but Howard persuaded her to claim compensation.  She used the money to buy Howard a synthesizer. The Shop delivered two by mistake and Howard liked the combination of the two so much, that he paid for the extra one. The shop knows him as Honest Howard”!

Now that is a great start to an environment, thinking our actions toward  the right things has an effect on the environment,  so that’s the first move getting along.  Wow,  that’s the big one.

Fly Over Refurbished

While were waiting for the Orion program to lift off, NASA’s Expedition Teams have been recording the fly over from the  ISS. The team at Image Science & Analysis Laboratory, NASA Johnson Space Center have produced an HD, refurbished, smoothed, retimed, denoised, deflickered cut of this spectacular view of our home.  Also Bitmeizer does a nice job of editing and adding a powerful sound track.

Quantum Revolution understanding Nature

Quantum, Life gets better

From gazing the heavens with a telescope and peering down a microscope we began to understand what makes up everything.  From the smallest to largest.   If the universe was sized down to a pea there you are, all atoms are around us!  Understanding matter and a way to control its properties; well lets just say our technology will advance a Billion fold and  in a smaller time frame.

The Holy Grail Quantum Physics

Quantum physics is giving mankind the power to manipulate the fundamental building blocks of matter.  Science fiction ideas like the space elevator, teleportation, invisibility cloaks, or nanosized molecular machines might soon become a reality. Leading theoretical physicist and futurist Dr Michio Kaku explores the cutting edge science of today, tomorrow, and beyond.  He argues that humankind is at a turning point in history. In this century, we are going to make the historic transition from the ‘Age of Discovery’ to the ‘Age of Mastery’, a period in which we will move from being passive observers of nature to its active choreographers.

There were two great revolutionary ideas in physics at the turn of the 20th century, relativity and quantum mechanics. Quantum mechanics is arguably the greater of these.  One third of the high-tech industry currently involves devices whose performance relies on quantum theory.  Quantum mechanics has also revolutionized our understanding of atoms, molecules, chemistry, and even biology.

Earth at night seen from space ISS (HD 1080p) ORIGINAL

All images used in this video were taken by the astronauts of Expedition 29 (Commander Mike Fossum, Flight Engineer Dan Burbank, Flight Engineers Satoshi Furukawa, Sergei Volkov, Anatoly Ivanishin and Anton Shkaplerov) aboard the International Space Station.

ISS altitude is about 350 kilometers (217 miles) above Earth surface.

This has audio good pick and nice job on the editing sebastiansz!

Ya know since the effort of assembling the ISS these are the most awesome footage of the planet we have to date. The astronauts on board have more time to film and not so busy when working up there with the Shuttle. Our Home is a space ship enjoy the ride and clean the deck when your done working.

We all need to do house keeping
