New Beck Site
Lets move on to something really heavy instead of these candy-ass corrupted buggers. Jeff Beck and his new backing band of Jonathan Joseph (drums), Nicolas Meier (guitars) and Rhonda Smith (bass). There has only been visual releases of Beck playing in small clubs, evidently Jeff has been working on a new show, who knew? “Live In Tokyo” was filmed at the Tokyo Dome City Hall in Japan on April 9th this year and the crowed was treated to a new list of material not yet released on the up and coming new studio album which is still unnamed.
From Jeff: “Great to be back playing with the band, load in took longer than normal. Thanks Fender for the amps. A few teething problems but all sorted now. Looking forward to the Tour, everyone is sounding great. Rhythm section is already tight and it’s only day two, wait till the cobwebs are dusted off! Rhonda is rocking it on the Bass, Jonathan is thunder on those drums and as ever Nicolas is delight on his guitar.”
Look at the line up of frickin pedals man!

Jeff Beck is a true rock legend and all I can say is Rock On:
From his time with the Yardbirds in the sixties, through the Jeff Beck Group and throughout his solo career his unique guitar style and constant desire to explore new musical areas and sounds has won him the admiration of his peers and the adoration of legions of fans. The other is the opposite of old, a sexy 24-year-old bass whiz by the name of Tal Wilkenfeld.
In 2007 Jeff Beck performed a series of concerts at the renowned Ronnie Scotts club in London. They became the must have ticket of the year with a packed audience every night of the famous and the fans.
Much of Beck’s recorded output has been instrumental, with a focus on innovative sound and his releases have spanned genres ranging from blues-rock, heavy metal, jazz fusion and most recently, an additional blend of guitar-rock and electronica. Although he recorded two hit albums (in 1975 and 1976) as a solo act, Beck has not established or maintained a broad following or the sustained commercial success of many of his collaborators and band mat Beck appears on albums by Mick Jagger, Kate Bush, Roger Waters, Stevie Wonder, Les Paul, Zucchero, Cyndi Lauper, Brian May and ZZ Top. In 1988, he made a cameo appearance in the movie Twins.
He was ranked 14th in Rolling Stone’s list of the “100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time” and the magazine has described him as “one of the most influential lead guitarists in rock”. He was also ranked second greatest rock guitarist of all time in Digital Dream Door, a site that ranks movies and music. MSNBC has called him a “guitarist’s guitarist. Beck has earned wide critical praise and received the Grammy Award for Best Rock Instrumental Performance six times and Best Pop Instrumental Performance once. He has been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice: as a member of The Yardbirds (1992) and as a solo artist (2009).
